The hand and the eye
The eye finds the cues. The hand finishes the work.
Assay spots the phrases and patterns that deserve a human's opinion. Handpress is where you personalise the document and get it ready for customers.

AssayTM finds the pattern. You make the call. HandpressTM gets it over the line.
Keep AI's speed and research without giving up the creativity, personality and human intuition your customers are paying for.
Spot the AI cues
Paste any text into Assay or open a supported file. Work through the telltale phrases and patterns.
Add the human touch
Keep what sounds right. Rewrite what feels like AI slop. Put your own voice back into the document.
Finish the product
Use Handpress for the matching HTML, personalise the layout, check the real pages and produce the PDF.
The real connection between the two products.
The bundle connection
See the same finding where you're making the edit.
Save the review in Assay and load it beside the matching HTML document in Handpress. When you change a flagged phrase, that item disappears from the imported review. The review marks stay out of the finished file. Run the finished HTML through Assay again for a fresh scan.
- Keep the phrase and its explanation beside the page.
- Work through the document without a separate checklist.
- Export a clean document with no review marks.
Two complete products
Each app works on its own.
You're buying two complete products, not two halves that only work together.
Use HandpressTM on its own
Edit any suitable HTML document, control its pages and produce the PDF without running an Assay scan.
Use AssayTM on its own
Scan pasted writing or supported files, review the findings and save a report without opening Handpress.

Questions & Answers
They do different jobs. Assay only needs the words, so it can inspect a post, email or long document. Handpress needs HTML because it edits the wording, design, images, page breaks and finished pages. Keeping them separate means each product stays useful on its own. The review file connects them when you need both.
No. Your purchase includes the first year of updates. After that, the versions you bought keep working. Paying £50 adds another year of bundle updates.
No. Assay reports recognisable patterns and wording that reads as machine-written. It does not determine authorship.
Handpress never sends your document anywhere. Assay runs its rules and its scans on your machine. Its AI pass is the one part that sends your text to be read. That pass runs when you spend a credit on it, and not before.
Not yet. Windows now. Mac coming soon.
No. You'll never need a paid account with ChatGPT, Claude or any other AI company. Assay credits are separate. You buy them directly from us and they only work inside Assay. They cannot be used in any other AI software. The free scan, the prompt injection scan and the hidden character check need no credits at all. They are free tools inside of Assay.
